Lanie & Kyler

Kyler came over today. They had tons of fun playing together! I really wanted to take them to the park to swing but the weather did not cooperate. It is only 45 degrees. Yuck! Oh well, maybe next time.

9 months

Lanie went to the doctor for her well baby 9 month check yesterday. All is well. She is still a petite little thing. She is between the 50 and 75 percentile in height and weight. Here is a picture of her eating a banana. Self feeding is a total mess but she seems to enjoy it and so do the boys.

He plans on her having her help him with the pigeons when she grows up and he planted a raspberry bush for her and the new baby to come in July. Grandpas are so cute.

Our version of the best week ever!

I have been teaching Lanie sign language. So far the one she is best at is the sign for dog which is to stick out your tongue and pant. It is pretty cute to watch.


You should see the other guy...except that it was the stool in the kitchen. Lanie bonked her head really hard and even I started to cry.

Tonight, John and I asked Lanie to come back and stay out of the kitchen. As she was crawling away she shook her head no, that little stinker. If you shake your head yes, she shakes her head no. It is pretty cute and funny, for now. This past weekend, The Niberts came up from P-town for a visit. It was tons of fun and Lanie had lots of play time with all of them. Lanie girl is a pretty fast crawler and has gotten much better at pushing Fredric around. We had a great 1st day of spring break together today. I am hoping for warmer weather tomorrow so we can walk to the park.
