Lanie is obsessed with this animal book!
Phew! Raking is hard work!

I can't wait to try out my new boots! Maybe tomorrow!!
I have been feeling flutters. The baby is definitely moving around and growing like crazy. One of my pregnancy books estimates that the baby is about five inches long. John has his names chosen: Leonidas and Clarice. Of course, I veto both of those names but it is nice that he put some thought into it.

Pumpkin Patch

My pumpkin!

Lanie and Kyler on a pumpkin hunt!

Today Elizabeth, Kyler, Lanie and I made a trip over to the pumpkin patch outside of Milliken. The kids had a blast running around and touching the pumpkins. Lanie didn't want to leave.

Helping Mommy with the laundry
Mommy and Daddy went out for the night, until 8:30.

I love my new picnic table!!!

Lanie loves her books!

Momma read me this book!!Lanie loves the books that have texture. We have about four different books that are her favorites. If the pages don't have fur, bumps, sparkles or floppy dog ears, forget about it. Her new thing is backing up into your lap with a book but don't think you will get to read the book in order or even have any page turning control. She is the boss of that!

14 Weeks

Yesterday I went to the OB doctor for my 14 week appointment. I heard the baby's heartbeat: 150 bpm, normal said the Dr. We also chatted about my next appointment. We pushed it back to 20 weeks instead of 18 so we would have the best bet for finding out the sex of the baby. The big baby day is...Tuesday, November 17! I am excited!

Lanie's smooth moves!

Lanie's Extreme Close Up

Lanie enjoying her first popsicle...thanks, Kirsten!
As you can see, she loved it!!

Lanie's new found talents, some fun and some not so fun: spinning in circles, running, screaming BUH at Buzz, saying 'hi' to everyone at the store, pulling her socks off, walking backwards, standing in her high chair and the shopping cart.

There's not too much to say about baby #2. I go to the Dr. on Tuesday. I hope to hear the heartbeat. I love that part and we didn't do that at the last appt. I have been feeling good. I am only barely beginning to show. I look more fat than pregnant. The good news...the first trimester is over. Only two more to go or 185 days but who is counting!
