As we looked over our schedule, we realized that with all the home shows John is working and our trip to Mexico that we had to celebrate Collin's birthday either three weeks early or three weeks late. We got the grandparents and a couple friends together and had a party last weekend. Sorry Little Man...I promise next year will be bigger bash. He loved all his presents and his cupcake. Of course, he is almost always all smiles! He is walking regularly and just today began to stand up all on his own without something to boost him up. He is growing so fast! I can't even believe it! He weighs over 21 pounds and is wearing 18-24 months clothes now. We turned his car seat around last weekend. I love seeing his smiling face on our trips to daycare and home each day. His new favorite thing to do is to take off his shoes and socks on the way to Sheri's house....annoying! Lanie loved to do the same and still loves to take her shoes off on the way home. Collin is a BIG eater! He eats more at most meals than Lanie. He just loves, loves, loves bananas, pancakes, breakfast sausage and avocados. 
Lanie still seems to think that family pics are a no go. Jeez, LK! Miss Lanie has been a champion at potty training and I mean champion. She has made it so easy on us...no accidents, panties at daycare all day, dry diaper all night and we barely have to remind her to go. I know this probably is not normal and we are very, very thankful that it has been this easy.
Our fun lovin' little man is 11 months today!! Yeah! Seriously, where has the time gone? He is walking when he chooses but prefers crawling since he is still better at it and QUICK! He LOVES playing outside at daycare and is upset to leave on these beautiful days.Collin loves to play with the various balls around the house. He just laughs and laughs when I toss them to him.
