29 Weeks

Today it snowed off and on in the morning...wierd! It is suppose to be in the 70's tomorrow. I hope it is. We do not like walking the boys when it is so darn cold and windy. Little Lanie has been very active the last two days. She has been kicking me and sticking her foot out. John felt it today and he said when he pushed on her foot she kicked back. I know it is her foot because I went to the doctor yesterday and he said she was head down. I listened to her heartbeat again, 141 bpm. All went well at the doctor. She now weighs approximately two pounds, nine ounces and is about 13 1/2 inches long.

New Nursery Decor

John and I did little decorating in the nursery. I bought a saying from Uppercase Living-Chrystelle is now selling it. It says, "Today you can be anything you imagine!" The instructions make it look super simple to apply...not true. John says Lanie probably won't like it when she is 16 and he is probably right but it isn't permanent. Heck, she might not like it when she is 8. For right now, I think it is pretty cute for a baby's bedroom. It is white so it is hard to see in the picture. We put it above the dresser.

28 Weeks

The belly is definitely growing and is beginning to get in the way of completing simple daily tasks like bending over. We have been slowly getting the nursery together. Here are some updated pictures. There are 22 days left of the school year! That is fun. Other than that, not too much is new on the Kinyon front.

27 Weeks and a MN Baby Shower

This past weekend I went to MN to see my family. While I was there, my mom threw me a wonderful baby shower. I had a great time. Many of my friends and family traveled across the state to come. I appreciate it greatly!! The baby gifts are all so beautiful but the best part was hanging out with all the people that are near and dear to my heart...thanks!! The funny thing is...I really think I need to start lifting weights. My biceps hurt today because I held so many babies yesterday. Boy, I must be a wimp.

I miss you all so much!! Here are a couple of the pics...enjoy!

99 Days

I can't believe it but there are only 99 days, give or take, until our little girl is born. All of my friends said it would go by very fast. Of course, I didn't really believe it but now that I am nearly 26 weeks pregnant and only have 14 weeks to go, I believe them. Yesterday, the doctor cleared me of gestational diabetes, thankfully...as I sit here eating a rice krispie treat.

Now, I am on spring break for the next nine days. I guess I will be happy if I accomplish two things each day: sleep in and walk the boys. Not really, I will be too bored...if anyone would like to hang out let me know. I am looking forward to my trip to MN next Friday to see my Mom, Abby and my super friends!

She's a mover and a shaker!

Last night, Lanie was being pretty active in my belly and John was able to see her move. It was pretty cool! It is fun to watch your belly move as the baby somersaults around inside.
