Jumping on/off the furniture isn't something I normally encourage or allow but they were just having so much fun and listening to their little giggles is just too much fun to stiffle. No one got hurt in the making of this video! :)

Gingerbread House Decor

Auntie Becky came over today to hang out. We shopped, ate a delicious dinner and decorated a gingerbread house. Good times were had by all!

Collin James

I think Mr. Collin James deserves a post all about him. Lanie has far more
posts than he does. Oh, the second child misses out on a lot. Collin is such a
silly baby but also has his crabby side. Just this morning, he let out a screech and scream that rattled my brain. That boy has a set of lungs! (A sibling fight over toys is usually the cause.) Then the next minute, he is a sweet as pie like in these pictures. He loves to ham it up for the camera. He gives the best hugs and his laugh melts my heart!

Ahhh...vacations days are bliss!

The time off of work has been wonderful. We sleep in, get dressed at our leisure and buy things we don't really need but things that we can do together as a family. We went out shopping on Monday for a couple of items we needed and Daddy found this cardboard house that we didn't really need. Today we put it together and colored it. It so far has banked three hours of family fun which is priceless in my eyes. Lanie even wrote her name on it. It was backwards and out of order but it was beautiful and made this teacher proud!!
Lanie loves Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. She used some of her Christmas money to buy these "ruby slippers" today. She has also been quoting the Wicked Witch of the West, "I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too!". It is so funny!

Christmas

Happy Birthday, Jesus! Sal decided since it was Jesus' birthday, that we needed a cake with a star and a baseball, GG delivered!
Papa & GG got Lanie a bike! Now, we need some clear sidewalks to take it for a spin.
Ridiculous amounts of presents

"Helping" Daddy grill and eating snow. Boo to it getting dark so early every night!
A good little mommy taking care of her baby. We watched, The Wizard of Oz the other night and now Lanie is obsessed. She loves it! She can't stop talking about Dorothy and the trees that grab you when you pick an apple. Boy, technology has come a long way since that movie was made. Those sets must have taken them eons to make and they are wonderful!

Evidently, Collin's baby was naughty. He put her in a timeout. It was so funny!

Lanie and Collin were very excited to open presents with Grandpa, Grandma Patti and Auntie Stacy on Sunday. Thanks for all the great gifts!

Our fun life!

The babies are growing fast and well. Collin is trying to read us books and Lanie is doing a superb job of retelling books that she has been read. It amazes me and I love it! She is also loving her counting. She can count to 13 and move objects to count to 7+. It is great! Collin is as tall at 20 months as Lanie was at two years. Lanie loves to play as well as fight but they both do silly things that make us laugh everyday!

Beautiful babies, I love them!!

Collin is a funny boy these days! His new favorite word, Ya! He says it for an answer to everything. Well, almost everything. Tonight it seemed like every answer was, "Ya". So I started testing him by asking questions. I asked him, "Do you like milk? Do you love Sheri? Do you like to play?" until I had asked him ten or more questions. The final question, "Do you like dog poop?". He promptly answered a big loud, "NO!". He's so funny. I love my kids soooo much!

Lanie counting...

I am so proud of her. She keeps us on our toes and is so very funny these days!
