Santa Clause is Coming to Town

Lanie's top ten things she loves and one she doesn't love at the moment...

1. Santa Clause is Coming to Town and singing it.

2. Cinderella

3. Lip Gloss

4. All of her grandparents

5. Her Mommy

6. Her daddy

7. Her brother

8. The computer, to watch Santa clips on

9. Santa

10. Wearing tights & her blankie

FYI...she does not love strangers. Haha. Good thing, right!? She is always making us chuckle. Collin is doing really well. His vocabulary is expanding daily. He definitely has more attitude these days. I think it may be in part from his older sister modeling it for him. He is really good at saying, "NO and Ow". Today he said, "Yes, Daddy" to John. Books are his thing for sure. He backs himself into your lap with his book, ready to read. Tonight, my cute little Collin was not out out of the bathtub for more than a minute and he had climbed on Lanie's bed. He then proceeded to pee on her comforter. That little stinker!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Playing games with my Aunties and Grandma

Gathering around the table. My favorite part is saying what each person is thankful for. Lanie said that she is a thankful for Santa. It was really cute!

We have much to be thankful for this year...we are all healthy, happy and well. There was lots of family time spent, which I love. Lanie was lucky to spend lots of time with her Auntie Abby at Grandma Susan's house. I am glad she has this opportunity as I have numerous fond memories at my grandma's house (both GJ and GT).

6 Years of Wedded Bliss

Saturday marked our sixth wedding anniversary and our tenth year of being a couple. It is amazing how time flies! We spent the day with my family. That evening we went on a double date with Abby & Tyler to dinner! It was a great day! Thanks mom for babysitting the kiddos!

I love John!

Melmo

The double wave! I love it!
Reading with Grandma Susan

Collin has a new word in his vocabulary, Melmo a.k.a. Elmo. He has a pair of shoes with Elmo on them and the first time I got them out, he got all excited and said, "Melmo". I can't enough of him saying it. It is too funny!!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Yesterday was John's birthday! I took the day off of school. We shopped, golfed, had lunch and then we had a little bday party for him with the family. It was a pretty great day!
"Black Cat"
Lanie got herself dressed yesterday in all black because she wanted to dress up as a black cat. I was not going to argue! This morning on the way to work she says, "Mommy, I love you". I replied with, "I love you". She got mad and said, "NO! You need to say, I love you too!". Oh my goodness!

It's a little early but we thought we would get our villages and tree out. The kids loved all of it!!
