Last night, Lanie and I decided to go watch Daddy play softball even though it was at seven and it was past her bedtime. About half way through the game, John threw the softball to make a double play. Instantly, I knew something was wrong and I headed straight to the dugout. His arm was limp and he was obviously in pain. We packed up and headed to urgent care, thinking they could help pop his shoulder back into the socket. Over an hour later they sent us to the ER in Loveland. Mind you, John still has had little relief from his dislocated shoulder. He is sweating bullets, white, and I also teased him that he looked a bit like the hunchback guy in the movie 300 because he was stuck in a curled up weird position. Long story short...hanging out in the ER with an eleven month old baby is not fun. She did a fabulous job but did not go to bed until midnight. No, she did not sleep a wink at the hospital. She just wanted to show off her mad walking skills. On the drive home John was pretty drugged up and said, "Now you have two babies to take care of". Oh really, like that is something new. Softball is over for the season and golf is on hold for a month. On the plus side, now Daddy can go to the pool with Mommy and Lanie!
