On July 11, Lanie
turned four years old! She has grown
into a spunky and vivacious little girl.
She loves Barbie, princesses, reading, playing, swimming and movies! She
impresses us every day with everything she has learned in these four short
years. She is counting, tracing letters,
telling great stories and impressed her doctor with her skills. On the doctor note, as he was examining Lanie’s
ears he noticed something peculiar. She
had a small, pink peg lodged in her ear.
How it got there, beats me! Most
interesting doctor visit to date!
One of the
requests she made for her birthday was a trip to the family cabin outside of
Boulder. Abby and Tyler were coming into
town and we all thought it was a perfect plan!
Then Saturday, we had some friends and family over for an actual
party. Of course, Lanie wanted a
princess cake. I let her pick it out at
the store. She was very excited! It was a great weekend!
