Lots
of fun was had this weekend… on Friday, the kids got their flu shots. Now,
every pen that Lanie finds, she likes to turn into the flu shot, she’s pretty
funny and creative. Daddy left to go to a home show in Wyoming so
we were then on our own. We cleaned,
played at the park and threw rocks in the reservoir! On Saturday morning, we called Grandma Susan
to wish her a happy birthday. Then we
headed over to Grandma Patti and Grandpa’s where we saw: doves, chickens, a
green iguana and a big yellow dog named, Dixie (Dixs, for short…hee hee). After that we headed to Lake Loveland for a
picnic and play time at the park. When rest
time was over, we raked our backyard as well as our neighbor’s yard and jumped
in the leaves! Our neighbor has a
beautiful Maple tree. It produces a copious
amount of leaves and it is still small.
We will have monster piles in the next five years!! On Sunday, we headed down to Denver to church with Papa and GG. It pastor appreciation month and Papa's congregation was having a special breakfast for him. After church we had some delicious lunch a cute little Greek restaurant, Axios (http://axiosdenver.com/). Yum! I recommend it!
Can I
just say that technology has made our lives so much easier?!? Well, there are fun games, Pandora, Pinterest
and best of all, FaceTime. So now when
Daddy is gone he can say goodnight to the babies and their momma!
