Cabin

 Sugarloaf Hike
Sunday Morning Hike with Snow White and Prince Collin

We decided for the three day weekend that we would head up to our family cabin.  We left on Friday night after work and stayed until Monday morning.  As John and I reflected on the weekend, we both agreed it was our best trip yet.   On Saturday morning, Collin woke us up bright and early. After breakfast, we headed over to Sugarloaf Mountain.  The kids and I tried to hike it earlier this summer but it was too hot and I was alone with the kids.  This time we decided we were going to make it to the top and we all did!  John and I were very proud of how well the kids did.  On Sunday morning we climbed the mountain behind the cabin.  It is an easier hike but Collin must have been exhausted from the previous day.  I ended up carrying him a lot!!  The views at the top were worth the hike!

Some other highlights from the trip:
·         We got lots of exercise!
·         My babies snuggled with me a ton!·         Collin touched a snake

·         We made popcorn balls, yum

·         The kids had a blast riding in Aunt Cindy and Uncle Darrel’s golf cart

·         Lanie watched Aladdin on VHS and couldn’t stop talking about Jasmine

·         We met some cabin neighbors and they told of the three female mountain lions living very nearby

·         The kids slept in their own bunk beds without falling out

·         We had tons of family fun time!!!
