 Lanie received this lovely angel from her Grandma Dorothy.  When we were in MN on our last visit, Grandma had given Lanie an angel.  It unfortunately got broken. When my mom went back for a visit, Grandma sent another.  Lanie was elated.

 A couple of weeks ago, we made a trip to Greensburg, Kansas to celebrate the life of John's Great Aunt Forrest Lee.  While we were there, the kids took their first horse ride on Silver.  Silver lives on Uncle David's farm.  John and I were impressed with how eager they both were to take a ride. 

Yesterday, Lanie and I were invited to our friend, Heather's bridal shower.  After it was over, Lanie was very excited to play with the beautiful flowers.  She said must put them in our hair like a princess.
