Aw, man...I met with my principal yesterday to discuss my maternity leave. I plan on returning on September 2. It is all too soon but I don't want to use all of my sick days in case we need to take some time off later in the year. I am going to work a teacher work day on August 8 and the first day of school August 14. I sure am fretting about leaving Lanie...August 8 is next week! We are going to head down to Canon City tomorrow for our first real outing and overnight. John's buddy, Billy, is getting married. It is just another thing for me to worry about. Will she cry in the car the whole trip down there?? Will she behave during the ceremony?? How will we do being away from the comfort of home?? Oh, jeez. I will let you know how it went down on Sunday.
Tomorrow Lanie will be three weeks old already !!! Crazy!!

There is something about that first picture I just love, she is so cute! The other night I was looking at your blog and Katie came over, so I showed her the video of Lanie and she made me play it about a dozen times and got mad when I wouldn't play it again.
She will sleep the whole way there and trhough the wedding! She is cute!
