Little Pea

We went to visit my classroom the other day and Lanie decided we needed to bring a few things home with us: construction paper shapes, scissors and some glue! She loves it, it helps teach her colors and shapes, and I love that! Her new favorite book that we read almost daily...Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. It is about a little pea that loves everything about life except that he has to eat candy at every meal. He is finally happy when he gets to eat dessert, SPINACH! It is a super cute book! She even "read" it to me one night. It was a proud moment for me.
